Jo Huey is a renowned specialist in helping family and professional caregivers work through the maze of emotions and skills needed to assist a person with Alzheimer’s or a related disorder. Experience as a Nursing Home Administrator, an Assisted Living Director and an innovator in alternatives in Alzheimer’s care prepare her to share small non expensive changes that lead to culture change in any home, facility or community.

Her published Master’s Thesis “Effectiveness of Training for Alzheimer’s Caregivers” combined with her hands on work with persons with Alzheimer’s in her own home and in 24 hour care settings provide the evidence based training so important in “making a difference.”
